How do I burn my WICK WORX candle?

Burn your candle for 3–4 hours at a time, and always trim the wick to 5mm before each lighting. On the first burn, allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the jar to prevent tunnelling. Never leave a candle unattended or within reach of children, pets, or a draft. Allow the jar to cool completely before handling.

Why soy wax?

Soy wax is 100% renewable and carbon neutral. It burns cleaner and longer than paraffin, producing up to 90% less soot — better for your home and the environment. Our soy wax is also certified kosher and free from herbicides, pesticides, and genetically modified materials.

What does 'Phthalate-free fragrance oils' mean?

Phthalates are chemicals commonly used in plastics and personal-care products. We only use fragrance oils that are completely free of phthalates, so you can burn with confidence knowing your home environment stays clean and safe.

Are your candles vegan?

Yes — our soy wax contains no animal byproducts, making every WICK WORX candle cruelty-free and vegan friendly.

How fragrant are your candles?

Our candles fill a medium-sized room beautifully. For larger spaces or rooms with high ceilings, we recommend our larger 200g–240g candles. Smaller candles are perfect for desks, bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms. We aim for a pleasant, everyday scent — not overwhelming, just right.

♻️ Repurposing Your Jar

Can I reuse the jar?

Absolutely — and we love that you want to! When around 10mm of wax remains, discontinue use. To clean: pour boiling water into the jar, wait 20 minutes, and the wax will float to the top. Remove the wax, empty the jar, then wash with soap and water. Use it to store pens, plant or succulents.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Domestic orders leave our studio within 24–48 business hours and typically arrive within 1–3 days via courier. Wholesale orders may take 3 days to 2 weeks depending on the season. We'll always get in touch if there are any delays.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped. If you haven't received it, reach out to us at customercare@wickworx.co.nz and we'll sort it straight away.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this stage — we currently ship within New Zealand only.

We always want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, please contact us at customercare@wickworx.co.nz and we'll do our best to help. Return shipping costs are covered by the customer.
