Hi, I'm Sheryl, and WICK WORX is truly a one-person operation – a labour of love created from my little studio at the back of my house in Cashmere, Christchurch.

The WICK WORX Story

I'm basically a one-man band here! From designing and printing the labels myself to creating and maintaining this website, I do it all to keep costs down and maintain complete control over quality. While I'll admit I'm rubbish at social media and marketing stuff, what I am good at is making really good candles.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

I'll do everything in my power to minimise my environmental footprint. This means avoiding importing materials from China and making do with what's already available here in New Zealand – which can be challenging in itself, but it's worth it. Being as sustainable as possible isn't just a goal; it's a core value that guides every decision I make.

Looking to the Future

I'm excited about what's ahead for WICK WORX. My plans include making my own vessels out of Jesmonite, a sustainable material that aligns with our eco-friendly values. I also hope to offer a refill option for Cantabrians, making it even easier for our local community to enjoy beautiful candles while reducing waste.
